McDonalds Dolls

McDonald`s Madame Alexander dolls make their debut in 2002, and quickly became one of the most popular Happy Meal toys of all time.

They are one of McDonald`s top ten Happy Meal Toys. The first set of Madame Alexander Happy Meal dolls, 2002, consisted of eight dolls. There was a Little Red Riding Hood, 100 Year Anniversary Teddy Bear Doll, Cool Cathy, Peter Pan, Caucasian Bride and Groom, and the extremely rare African American Bride and Groom.

Each doll is about six inches tall, has arms and legs that move, eyes that open and close, and detailed clothes. The 2003 Madame Alexander McDonald`s dolls were a set of 12. There was a Ring Carrier Caucasian and African American, Flower Girl African American and Caucasian, Lady Bug, Pink Fairy, It`s Raining, Hannah Pepper, Hannah Pepper`s Friend, Rapunzel, Halloween Leopard Costume, and a Halloween Pumpkin Costume. These dolls were four inches, had movable arms and sleep eyes.

The 2004 McDonalds Madame Alexander Dolls was a set of seven. These dolls were all based on popular children characters at the time and were made from Madame Alexander`s Wendy Doll dress and Minnie Mouse as a Caucasian and African-American, Mickey Mouse as a Caucasian and African-American, Cruella DeVil, Jasmine, Blue Fair, and Pinocchio.

These dolls were again four inches tall and had moving arms and sleep eyes. The 2005 Madame Alexander McDonald dolls were different from the previous year. They were a set of 10 dolls. These dolls had elaborate costumes and painted faces, and depicted active lifestyles for the youth.

These dolls included Setting Sail, Jumping, Team Mates Boy and Girl, Hop Skip Jump, Ballerina, Kick it Boy and Girl, Equestrian, and Tennis. These dolls were five inches tall had movable parts and sleep eyes.

In 2007, Madame Alexander Happy Meals dolls were based on the Wizard of OZ. This was a set of eight and included Dorothy, Glinda the Good Witch, Wicked Witch of the West, The Cowardly Lion, Wicked Witch of the East, Tinman, Daisy Munchkin, and the Scarecrow. These dolls were 4.5 inches tall and had movable parts and sleep eyes.

The 2008 McDonalds Alexander Doll line was once again from OZ. This was a 12 doll line and included Dorothy, Glinda The Good Witch, Wicked Witch of the West, Scarecrow, Tin Man, Cowardly Lion, Winged Monkey, Oz Flower Munchkin, Winkie Guard, and the Wizard of Oz himself. These 4.5 inch dolls were replicas of dolls from the past and present Wizard of Oz Collection. These dolls also had movable parts and sleep eyes.
