(Browse through photos and descriptions of the lovely Madame Alexander bride dolls -- a special addition to any collection.)

Madame Alexander bride dolls are very beautiful. She has made many different versions of bride dolls including brides, grooms, and bridesmaids.

Madame Alexander has also made a few McDonald Happy Meal toys that were Brides and grooms, or related to a wedding. One of the first Madame Alexander Bride dolls was made in 1940 and was a 14 in composition doll.

The dress is an empire style long sleeved satin floor length gown. It is trimmed in black at the sleeves and hem. The doll also has a cathedral length veil that is gathered at the top of her head and flows down to a train.

She has long blonde hair and curls and sleep eyes. There was a dark haired Cissette Bride doll made in 1963. She had a tulle wedding dress with ruffles and a bodice. She also had a slip, veil, wreath, bridal bouquet, stockings, garter, panties, high heel shoes, a pearl necklace, earring and an engagement ring on her finger.

In the first line of McDonalds Happy meal dolls there was a Caucasian Bride and Groom, and the extremely rare African American Bride and Groom.

These dolls were six inches tall. Also, in the 2003 line there was a Ring Carrier Caucasian and African American, Flower Girl African American and Caucasian. These dolls were four inches tall. There are also many beautiful Wendy brides that have been made.
